PRIORY ROOM

Come and discover what Redbourn's rebellious monks were getting up to that upset Abbot Richard so much that he needed to write a new constitution to control their behaviour.

OCCUPATIONS ROOM

This room was the parlour in 1900 when Mr Harvey
lived here as manager of the Silk Mill.
This room is now a treasure trove of various businesses
based in Redbourn, including the modern
Brooke Bond tea packing factory which employed
420 people from Redbourn and surrounding villages.
Brooke Bond operated in Redbourn for  over 50 years,
from 1940 to 1994.
